Mariana completed a 5 month Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Fall 2020. Here she took part in the Cosmetology Track. This trained her how to use her hairdressing skills and other beauty platforms as a means to preach the gospel for the first 3 months of the program. For the remaining 2 months, Mariana and her peers ventured out to the stunning country of Colombia and ministered to as many people they could meet while using the various Cosmetology skills learned. After completing the 5 month program in March 2021, she signed on and currently is full-time staff at YWAM Pittsburgh. Being a full-time staff, she now runs the Cosmetology Track for upcoming DTS schools. As well as leads the kitchen ministry and the Painting with a Purpose program. Mariana is actively involved in weekly children ministries and mentorship programs. YWAM's motto is to Know God & make Him known.
